Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

We purchased our tree yesterday at a local tree farm not too far from us. The smell of pine in the barn was breathtaking! We used to have an artificial tree, but then two years ago we decided to buy a real tree - and as they say, "It was love at first sight!". I will never go back to an artificial one. We just love the smell and look of the real thing sooo much! Here are some pictures of the "trimming of the tree" that we did last night...

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with our family. The first thing we did was sleep in!!! Oh, what a wonderful thing to do! It was a leisurely morning at our house and then off to Grandma's house. My sisters and their families were there, my Grandma Young, my parents, and Anthony joined us too this year! After we ate dinner at mom's house we were off to my husband's side of the family. So, once again we ate another wonderful meal! We are so blessed with family, friends, food and fellowship!
