Humphrey, Here We Come!!

I should say "Ready or not Humphrey, here we come!". Well, on September 20th, David and I had our first Sunday as Pastor and Mrs. Cialini at the Humphrey Baptist Church in Great Valley, NY. What a wonderful day it was! We had 34 in attendance that day with 5 of those being my two sisters, Zach, Amy and Josh. They had come down the day before to help us work on the parsonage and clean the church, oh, and to keep me out of my husband's hair (as he so graciously told them!). We had a good old time together...lots of fun and laughter - as usual!

The people at Humphrey Baptist were so warm and friendly. We already feel at home with the church family...wonderful people! Here are just some of the pictures that were taken on that day - enjoy!

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

This past August 30th, I celebrated my 31st birthday, and boy, did I have a great day!! My sisters threw a birthday party for me at Jackie's house and it was full of surprises! When I arrived at Jackie's, I walked into the dining room and let out a scream...a happy scream! To my surprise I was greeted with a birthday cake made by Mrs. Susan Snook, a very talented lady in our church! Her cakes are so beautifully done she should be on TV!! I just absolutely LOVED it!
Check out her website at www.sophisticakesbysusan.com
(Joey couldn't even believe how pretty it was!)
And yes, for all those who may be wondering, the cake is suppose to be leaning...it's whimsical!!

I enjoyed all the dear people who came to be a part of my birthday...I felt very loved and spoiled! This next present was from Mrs. Titus and Brittany. It looks like a very big gift, but oh, just wait!!...it was Brittany's idea!

(my hubby looks excited!)
It was an itty-bitty Walmart gift card in that big box, but as the saying goes, "Big things come in little packages!". Thankyou, Brittany, for making me work for my present!

There's that pretty cake again!
...and again!

Another surprise...this country sign from David! I've seen this particular sign before and I have always loved it. I didn't think I was going to get anything from him as he had already given something to me earlier in the month, but hey, who am I to refuse a gift?!!

A new country shelf that I had picked out with Jackie, but I made sure that I acted surprised when she gave it to me!

There it is again!

These next few pictures are a story all their own!! I just wanted a nice picture of my sisters and I with the pretty cake. Well, nothing just comes simply when it involves my sisters and I, but boy, it sure is fun!
Uhh, Carrie, I think you're suppose to be looking happy. I guess she had a loooong day!

Okay!! I guess we all had a loooong day!

Ahhh, now that's more like it! A rose among thorns...two thorns, that is!!
Just kidding you two!

I feel so loved!Little David was outside while I was opening my gifts, so he gave me his gift later on!

And not only did that pretty cake look good, it tasted good too! Mmmmm!
