Seabreeze...

We went to Seabreeze this summer - thankyou NVR! My husband's summer job always gives the employees and their families free passes to Seabreeze! It was so fun to watch the boys ride all the kiddie rides and enjoy themselves (now that they are older!). Here are some of the pictures from the day...

Joey doesn't look too happy, does he?!!
Woe, this reminds me too much of his father!

Daddy and Mommy also played this game (so we could win something for the boys). I have to mention that Mommy beat Daddy both times while playing!!
My boys do love their daddy!!!

Our 9th Anniversary...

July 31st was the 9th wedding anniversary for David and I! It was a very special one for the two of us for many reasons. My husband had it all planned out for me and I didn't even know! He took me out to dinner and then took me to the Sutherland House in Canandaigua. We had went there before for our 4th anniversary (I was expecting with David at the time) - let's just say that I had a better time this year with no big belly!! Anyways, we spent the night there and the next morning we had a wonderful breakfast: fresh fruit (arranged in such a "picture perfect" way), homemade biscuits and gravy (one of our favorites!), homefries (the best ever) and of course juice, coffee, tea, etc. It was so nice to be pampered by my hubby - he's the best!! Here are some of the pictures that we took...

The main lobby to just sit, read or just relax and have a delicious cup of tea!!

Joey's 3rd Birthday...

July 7th marked Joey's 3rd birthday!! Wow, I cannot believe my baby is 3! We had his birthday party at my sister's house (bigger for all the family). He had such a fun time. He finally got his new bike for his birthday...from Daddy and Mommy!

We also celebrated my in-laws' 30th wedding anniversary while all together; their anniversary is the day before Joey's birthday!!

Family Trip 2008 - Washington, D.C.

This past June, our family took a trip down to the Washington, D.C. area. David and I always enjoy going there, and it seems that we always see something new every time we go! We had such a good time. I enjoyed just being together with all my boys, just the four of us! We could do whatever we wanted with no time schedule to keep - it was wonderful! Of course on Sunday, we went to Dr. Jeff Owens' church in Martinsburg, WV. We try to see the Owens on a yearly basis - such dear people! Here are some of the pictures that we took...

Eating lunch with my two most favorite children!!
"Like father, like son" - boy, am I in trouble!

Someone was kind enough to take our family picture!

Can you even believe that we found this hat with our son's initials on it?!! Some Chinese guy was just selling them on the side of the road!

We went to the Air and Space Museum while in D.C., here are some pics...

While Friday was spent in Washington, D.C., Saturday was spent doing just whatever we wanted to do. We went over to the church to see what was going on, then it was off to bowling, and of course we had to stop at Walmart (which I did 3 times in a four day trip...I love that store!). Later on that day we just went back to the hotel and the boys played with their new guns, we ate Subway for dinner and watched a movie...just relaxed!!
Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church
They even have their own billboard!!

On Monday we headed for home. On the way we stopped at Hershey, PA. What a fun time that was! We went to Hershey's Chocolate World - boy, I have never seen so much candy!!!

Valentine's Day 2008...

This Valentine's Day was fun and full of activity!! I just love to look around and see all the pink and red things and hearts and such. I was also looking forward to having a date with my Sweetheart! Papa and Nana watched the boys so that David and I could go out on a date. We were suppose to go to the Olive Garden for dinner, but things changed a little...my husband brought home a heart-shaped pizza and of course we were all starving, especially when we saw that come through the door!! So, we filled up on that and therefore wasn't very hungry when it was time for us to go on our dinner date! But we did go to a few stores and looked at things that we enjoy...and finally around 7:30pm or so we did eat at the food court! It might not have been a romantic setting for some people, but it was good enough for us. Hey, when you have little ones around all the time, just being alone together is all the romance you need...even if it is in the food court!! Here are some pictures from this year's Valentine's Day...
David and Joey wanted to help me make Valentine cupcakes for Daddy's class at school!
Future bakers hard at work!!
Joey made this for mommy and daddy in his toddler class!
These came delivered to me from my boys!
My honey gave me these...aren't they beautiful!
David brought home this pizza for me...the last heart-shaped pizza we had together was on our very first Valentine's Day...14 years ago. He had made one for us to share together at his home!
Joey is patiently waiting to open his Valentine from Mommy and Daddy!
