Our Day-cation...

Today my husband surprised the boys and I by taking us down to Watkins Glen for the afternoon. What a fun time we had just being together as a family - it was so nice!! We climbed the Glen all the way to the top - one and a half miles. Our son David just kept on climbing, many times he was the leader of the group. Now Joey, on the other hand, had a harder time. He kept saying, "Mommy, me towered (tired)". So Daddy held Joey either in his arms or on his shoulders much of the way up (that's an extra 40 pounds). Going down was much easier as we took a smoother trail most of the way down. Here are some of the pics from our day...
On the way down to Watkins Glen...how beautiful!

There they go!!!

Rest stop #1.
Rest stop #2.
Rest stop #3 - I love my boys...all 3 of them!!

I'd hate to fall into that! Ouch!
They look so tiny, don't they?!

David loved this spinner (or as my husband called it - pewk machine)...

...and this is the result of the pewk machine!

How pretty the trees were looking up into the sky!

My sweetheart!

David found this tree stick on the path...it made an awesome pistol!

And of course we had to finish the day off right by going to Pizza Hut to feed our hunger that we worked up while at the Glen!!!

Potty Training...still...

Well, potty training is not going as smooth with Joey as it did with David. He tells me that he has to go potty, so we go in the bathroom and do our usual ritual, just for him to say, "It not comin', Mommy, me try later". Over and over again, I feel like he will never learn. Well, the picture explains it all...

"Look, Mommy, I found a new use for the potty seat - a picture frame!"

Flag Football 2008...

Today was the 2008 Flag Football Tournament at Southeast Bible Baptist Church. Our teenage guys and some adults play in the tournament each year. They didn't win the tournament, but they had fun trying...I think!! Here are just some of the pictures from the day...

Just a relaxing day...

We had such a relaxing morning here at home today. It's so nice when Monday comes with our Sundays being so busy and jam-packed!! I was busy around the house doing laundry, cleaning, organizing some more, and just being with my boys! The boys love to be home, especially my little David. They were busy with their own things to do - playing with their toys, cleaning some things in their room, and most importantly, playing with Play-doh!!! They just love Play-doh, but I think I love it more (it keeps them quiet and busy for hours!!!). What a great invention! Boy, do I sound like an awful mother or what?! Well, I don't think I am tooo bad!!! Here are some pictures from our morning...

David was being creative and making a snowman, while Joey was...

...well, um, trying to bury Diego alive!! That's Joey for you!
We even whipped up a batch of Rice Krispie Treats for Grandpa

It's been a while...

It's been a while since I have done anything with this blog, and I wanted to let you all know out there that the Cialini family is still alive and doing well!! So, I will try once again to keep up with our family life so that we may have these memories for a long time to come!! Read on to do some catching up with us...

Some silly pictures...

Just a few silly pictures of my boys...

First Day of School...

Wednesday, September 3rd, was David's very first day of school!! I cannot believe it! He just looks too little to be going to school! Here are some pictures to remember that day...

I woke him up and brought him into our bed so he could "wake up".
This is how far he got...to the floor!!

David was given a Webkinz as a "First day of school" gift...I think I just wanted a reason to give him something!!!

There he goes...

...and goes!!

Here are some pictures of David's classroom...

His goal chart...hopefully to be filled with many stars!!!

My 30th birthday...

For my birthday this year, my 30th birthday, David gave me a surprise party!! Well, it was suppose to be a surprise but I accidentally found out...oops!! I really had a great time and I felt so spoiled by everyone! With friends and family around, a beautiful summer day, yummy food and of course, presents, how could a girl NOT be happy!!
My birthday card from my boys!! I hope David doesn't mind being married to an "old" lady!! My husband brought these roses home for me!
Look at that little girl...my, where does the time go?
Here is my birthday present from my husband (my sisters helped a little too!).A birthday kiss from my little David!!

Red Wings Game...

Many people from our church went to a Red Wings Game this summer; I think it's going to be a yearly tradition for the church. We had a really fun time. This year a quartet from the church had the privilege of singing at the 7th inning stretch - they did an awesome job!! I think the solo at the beginning of the song was the best (I'm a little bios as it was my hubby!). Here are some pics...

This was suppose to be a family picture, but the fireworks were too loud for the boys!

Isn't the man on the far right just so handsome?!!
