Pumpkins...

This evening David, Grandma VP and I went to a little pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins. Joey stayed with Grandpa as it was kinda' cold out, so David said that he would pick Joey's out! He was so excited about the whole picking out your own pumpkin thing! Simple things...that is all he needs!"Yahoo, I am so happy!" Those were David's words when we got to the pumpkin patch!
David found his pumpkin...finally!
Joey would not let go of his pumpkin; he carried it all around the yard!
Here's my two "punkin' boys" with their pumpkins!!

Pajama time!!

Well, I am not quite sure what was happening this night at home! I was gone to the store at the time and Daddy was in charge!! But from the looks of these pictures, I think they all had a good time together...Something must have been pretty funny!!Joey is such a "goofball"!
Does this look like a trouble-maker or what?!!

Daddy's Shoes...

As most of you know, Joey loves playing with shoes...whether it be boys' shoes or yes, even girls' shoes!!! He was being very quiet the other day, so I thought I should check and see what he was up to. I found him in our bedroom trying on his daddy's shoes. Looking at these pictures, I only hope that he will follow in his daddy's shoes...which, I think, are pretty good shoes to fill!!

Red Wings Game 2007...

This past Monday night a group of people, 95 or so, went to a Red Wings game in Rochester. We had such a fun time. The weather was beautiful and there is always yummy food at baseball games...oh, and the fellowship was fun too! We took lots of pictures and some video too. The highlight of the game was at the 7th inning stretch when our very own Cindy Detro sang "God Bless America". She did a wonderful job...you will see the pictures later on. Here are some pictures from the evening at the stadium...David and Joey anxiously waiting to load the bus and head to the game!!
Joey and "Aunt Cookie" - that's how Joey says Aunt Carrie!

Fairhaven State Park Picnic...

A week ago today, we had a family picnic to celebrate my cousin-in-law's return home from Iraq. We went to Fairhaven State Park, it was our first time there as a family! We had such a beautiful day for a picnic and it was so good to see everyone again...and of course, the food was delicious! The boys had so much fun at the playground and down by the water. Here are some pictures to remember the day by!...

David took this picture; he must have been hungry at the time!!

Joey trying to decide what to play with on the huge playground!

"Okay, Mom, that's enough pictures, I'm trying to play!"

My three guys enjoying the water together!

As the adults were standing by the water watching the kids, my sister Carrie, looks out over the water in the quiet, country town of Fairhaven and says, "Is that a body bag?"...

Leave it up to Carrie to say something like that...I was laughing so hard!! She's crazy!!

My husband took this picture...he said it would make a good screen saver!

I just love this picture of the boys!

Daddy getting Joey ready to get into the water!

Where do I begin?...

Oh, there has been so much going on lately in the Cialini home! Shame on me though for not recording daily as I so often intend to do! Well, let us go back in time a
little and get "caught up to speed" on things! Last Friday we decided to finally get bunk beds for the boys. Joey is getting a little big for his crib as he is trying to get out himself...I guess mommy takes too long to come and get him!

Brotherly love...

Last evening David was playing with a new playstation game that my husband received from a fellow employee at work. David couldn't wait to play...it was a monster truck game!! While playing, Joey went over and sat down next to him and put his arm on David's back and started saying, "Uhh, Dadi", while rubbing! I thought it was so cute that I had to just snap a picture!Joey encouraging his brother while trying to win the race!!Some more love from Joey!

I think he gets it!!...

Today was an exciting day for me as a mom who is introducing letters and numbers to David. Sometimes I think he will never "get it", but today proved that something must be going on in that little head of his!! Today, he wrote his first letter..."D", I am starting with his name first. I was so excited!! And then he shocked me even further when he wrote the numbers "1" and "2". I am really excited now about staying faithful with the teaching!!David and Joey with their chalkboard...trying to share!David wrote a capital "D"!!!David writing a big "D"...a really big "D"!!David writing a "1" and a "2"!!

Today was an eventful day!! This morning my mother and I went to the store and as we came home, my dad came walking up to us and told us that David had an accident! He was riding down Aunt Jackie's driveway and as he came to the front of the garage doors on the barn, he ran right into the corner of the door. Well, to make a long story short (and a little less nausiating), we endend up at the doctor's this afternoon for 5 stitches and a lot of crying!!! Daddy showed up while we were there, which was a treat for me as I was in the corner crying, but I did get a hold of myself long enough to hold his hands and try to comfort him as best as I knew how! Aunt Jackie and Grandpa were there too (I needed a lot of moral support!) Dad and Jackie will probably sleep for a week after all they have been through today - I'm so glad they were there for me!! Here are some pictures of our little boy! My husband called him Rambo at the doctor's!! David and Joey playing with the homemade playdo from Rachael!!Nana made "rocks and boulders" for their trucks!Uncle Steve brought a toy for David for being a good boy at the doctor's...what a nice uncle!!David with his new trucks!! Thanks, Uncle Steve and Aunt Jackie!!

Joey with his new toy...for being the brother of the wounded!
