Happy Birthday, Josh...

Last Friday we celebrated my nephew's birthday! He turned 9 years old this year. Carrie had a big party for him...here are some pictures...

Josh wanted a Dallas Cowboys hat soooo bad...wish granted!!

Josh waiting to go outside and see what his present is from his parents...it was hidden in the back of Uncle Steve's truck. Hmmm, I wonder what it could be?!!

A trampoline!!! Boy, was he ever surprised, he had no idea!

Thankyou, Mommy!! That smiling face says it all!

Josh had so much birthday spirit, he was singing "Happy Birthday" to himself along with everybody else!! I guess you can do that when you're 9, and get away with it!

Two more birthdays...

Last Thursday night we celebrated two more birthdays...David's mom and sister! My mother-in-law turned 50 this year so we wanted to make it extra special for her, and since there is only 9 days between her and Rachel's birthday we decided to celebrate them together! We had a birthday dinner and then did cake and presents, and boy was it all GOOD!! Here are some pics...

Jackie helped out and made the chocolate cake...mmm, it was tasty!!

I made a carrot cake just for mom!

My nephew Alex...he's such a cutie!!

David and Nana!

I told Joey to give me a big smile...I think that's big enough, don't you?!!

Alex with his daddy!

The Cialini men!

I love this one of David and Nana!

Poor Joe! But hey, what are sisters for, right?!!

Now that's what you call sibling love...we fake it good, don't we? Just kidding!!
The two birthday girls!

Alex was getting tired. He just loved cuddling with Joey's Webkinz.
Uncle Joe giving a double piggy-back ride!!

I think my boys ate a little too much cake!!
They were cracking themselves up with these balloons!

Happy Birthday, Zach!!

Last night we celebrated Zach's 15th birthday. To tell you the truth I can't believe that he is already 15 years old. I remember the night he was born! Wow, are we getting old or what?! Here are some pictures from the night...
Zach with his Grandma!

What's a party without this guy?!

I had to snap a picture of this particular gift...it comes with a story...and yes, my mother is involved in this one again! Zach opened the watch and was showing people, and my mother says, "Oh Zach, what did you get?" Zach replies, " a watch". "What does it do?", says mom. (I swear I am telling the truth!) In unison, Jackie and I say, "It tells time." Oh, that's our mother for you!!
A cheesecake just for Zach!

The First of Many...

Well, it's that time of year again...the busy birthday month! Between my husband and I, we have six birthdays in our family in the month of March...and none of them are even ours!!! With all kidding aside I really do enjoy all these parties and of course all the cake and icecream! Tonight we celebrated my mother's 60th birthday at Carrie's house. We had chili and bread for dinner (compliments of Jackie) and then later on we had yummy cake and icecream (compliments of Carrie and I). I can't even believe that I have a mother who is 60! Here are some pictures from the eventful evening...

I guess as someone gets older there are usually less packages to unwrap and more cards to open...which is okay, just as long as there is some "green stuff" in those cards! Hey, come on, I know you're thinking the same thing!
Mom's flowers!

David anxiously awaiting to have Grandma open her gifts!

Now the next picture comes with a little story. This is mom's reaction after hearing Jackie say to her (remember she is 60), "Mom, I can't believe you still have a mother...to be at your 60th birthday!" Please note that my Grandma Young was sitting in the very same room right next to Jackie as she says this to mom. Well, of course my wonderful sister Carrie has to comment on this whole thing by saying..."Oh, that's real nice, Jackie, you might as well say, 'I can't believe Grandma is still alive!'" Meanwhile everyone is cracking up and my eyes were watering from laughing so hard that I almost didn't get this pic...
Sorry, mom, I know you didn't want this picture on my blog, but hey, what are kids for?!!!

Notice the man to the far right of the picture...what in the world is he doing?! Boy, I feel sorry for his wife!

I tried to take a nice picture of my husband. I pointed the camera at him and said, "Smile, Honey." Well that's what I got! Oh well, maybe next time.
