Surprise, Honey!!

We had my husband's surprise 30th birthday party tonight, and what a fun time we had! Anything with my husband involved always seems to be very interesting or funny or both! I love him so much and I'm so glad that he was surprised...you know, I had to tell many lies this week to keep him thinking everything was normal around the house! Here are some pictures from his party...

The big 30!

Amy had made her birthday hat from scratch and was very proud of her accomplishment!

He looks very "stately", don't you think?!

He wasted no time putting what was in those cards into his front pocket!!

Carrie was wondering..."is there anything in my teeth?!".

I just love this one of my mother-in-law. I know she will kill me for posting this, but I think it captures her just perfect!

David's very good friend, Josh Freundschuh, was able to come tonight and be a part of my husband's birthday! You should have seen the look on my husband's face when Josh pulled in the driveway...I wish I would've had my camera with me at that moment!! Surprise, Honey!

Who would've thought when these two men were graduating from high school 12 years ago that they would be all grown up and have kids of their own...kinda' scary!! Just kidding, guys!

What great memories we made tonight all together!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Honey! You deserve it...and more! May the Lord bless you in the coming year, and I have a feeling He will!!

Last, but certainly not least...

Last Friday night we celebrated the very last birthday for the month of March in our family for my lovely sister, Carrie! She insisted that she didn't want a party (you know being the center of attention just frightens her!!). Well, I said she was having a birthday party whether she liked it or not!! And....I won!! Here are some pics from her party...

Look at those two beautiful women...they must be related to an even more beautiful sister!! (Just kidding, guys!)

I just love this next one...
What a cute couple!!
Oohh, my favorite...uhh, I mean her favorite!!

The infamous washcloth made by our Grandma Young!!

The birthday girl!!
The Syracuse Orangemen game started...can you tell?!!

What???...I guess they didn't like my comment mentioned above about the beautiful sisters thing...sorry!!

Jackie saw this card in Cracker Barrel while we were out and she knew she just had to get it for Carrie. I wonder if they use the same hairspray?!!

This is what was on the inside...you go, girl!!

Now you will have to look closely to the next two pictures and see if you can find what the difference is between the two! Steve, my brother-in-law, said he would pay $5 to the winner...you're welcome Steve.
(nice feet!!)
Well, did you guess it? If you did, just let Steve know when you see him next. I'm sure he'll remember his promise to pay up!!
Yup...you guessed it...still the SU game!!

Carrie said to make a face in the next picture, so I did.
She reviewed it in the camera and said I didn't do my face big enough, so we did it again...

...is that big enough for ya'?!!!
-------------------------------------------------
Poor Carrie, I think the stress of life and getting another year older has really taken its tole on her...what do you think?

Happy Birthday, Carrie!

Happy Birthday, Josh...

Last Friday we celebrated my nephew's birthday! He turned 9 years old this year. Carrie had a big party for him...here are some pictures...

Josh wanted a Dallas Cowboys hat soooo bad...wish granted!!

Josh waiting to go outside and see what his present is from his parents...it was hidden in the back of Uncle Steve's truck. Hmmm, I wonder what it could be?!!

A trampoline!!! Boy, was he ever surprised, he had no idea!

Thankyou, Mommy!! That smiling face says it all!

Josh had so much birthday spirit, he was singing "Happy Birthday" to himself along with everybody else!! I guess you can do that when you're 9, and get away with it!

Happy 9th Birthday, Josh!

Two more birthdays...

Last Thursday night we celebrated two more birthdays...David's mom and sister! My mother-in-law turned 50 this year so we wanted to make it extra special for her, and since there is only 9 days between her and Rachel's birthday we decided to celebrate them together! We had a birthday dinner and then did cake and presents, and boy was it all GOOD!! Here are some pics...

Jackie helped out and made the chocolate cake...mmm, it was tasty!!

I made a carrot cake just for mom!

My nephew Alex...he's such a cutie!!

David and Nana!

I told Joey to give me a big smile...I think that's big enough, don't you?!!

Alex with his daddy!

The Cialini men!

I love this one of David and Nana!

Poor Joe! But hey, what are sisters for, right?!!

Now that's what you call sibling love...we fake it good, don't we? Just kidding!!
The two birthday girls!

Alex was getting tired. He just loved cuddling with Joey's Webkinz.
Uncle Joe giving a double piggy-back ride!!

I think my boys ate a little too much cake!!
They were cracking themselves up with these balloons!
